Iventis was founded in 2015 by our CEO, Joe Cusdin, following a decade of experience working on major events, such as the London 2012 Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), and the Baku 2015 European Games. Joe identified a glaring gap in the event planning landscape.
Spatial and geographic information was central to almost every aspect of event planning but there were no suitable tools. Existing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software was often overly complex, costly, and required extensive customisation.
Driven by this insight, Joe launched Iventis, a visual event planning platform designed to improve the efficiency of planning events of all sizes and complexities.
Since we began, Iventis has powered globally renowned events such as the Special Olympics World Games 2023, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, Dubai Expo 2020, the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference and many more.

Joe’s extensive experience in the major events industry working in GIS, analytics, and information management inspired him to establish Iventis, with the goal of helping teams worldwide plan events and operations more efficiently.
Stephen, an accomplished Solution Architect and Software Engineer with diverse industry and civil service roles, ensures Iventis systems are robust and secure. He is also a bye-fellow at Girton College, Cambridge University.
Anna, brings 20+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS marketing gained through leadership roles at Weavr, Smarsh, Cisco and Anansi, and is passionate about building high-performing marketing teams and implementing growth strategies.
